If you already have the 10-22 then you pretty much have one of the best options.

If you want something faster then there is the Tokina 11-16 f2.8. But for what you're looking to shoot a faster aperture isn't really needed. If you want something wider then there is the Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6.

Is there something you don't like about your 10-22?

There's no better option than the lens you have.

If you feel your 10-22mm is not enough it's time to upgrade to full frame, that will give you options to use some of the best wide angle primes ever made.

All too many 'landscape' shooters are impressed with the majesty of the scene in the distance, and they bayonet a super WA lens...they fail to understand that detail in the distance gets shrunk a lot by a super WA, so that on a print the detail is so small as to be no longer appreciated.

That is why it is often better to shoot multiple shots with a longer FL lens, to 'compress' (bring closer) the distant detail a lot, and stitch together the multiple shots as a single shot via postprocessing!

Although I don't disagree with your point some people question the authenticity of photos that are stiched together in post.

The stitching process can cause errors, but a super WA isn't perfect either, given the distortion corrections used.

I've used both methods, and I'd have to say I prefer the super WA unless I'm thinking about a large print pano.

I don't understand this attitude with regard to anything other than reportage.
