The RAAF JSF arrived on home soil just this week. Great to see them first hand. Not often they'd visit my home city

Fine shots of them...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Do you know when they are supposed to come home? Our pilots have been training for 12 months. Maybe yours just aren't the fastest learners Al ;)

Our two arrived just last Friday in time for the show. the pilot was not a display pilot so the display was basic. Didn't show off it's capabilities at all. Unlike the F22 which was amazing. Flat spin a few thousand feet and just powers out and the vertical hover into a tail slide a few thousand feet, all under full control and very loud.
