There is no such setting on the 622c receiver. I'm referring to the 622c-TX transmitter that you want HSS. I believe you can do SS on the 360 but you won't be able to adjust power.

Like this right?

Though I had read if I have the TX then that's not needed.

I had the TX also but couldn't get it to go HSS with 622TX and 622C so I just used two 622Cs and HSS worked fine with the pc sync cord.

attach the receiver to AD360 foot

^^^ nope.

the following is correct:

smaeda wrote in post #18293993 (external link)
If you look at the bottom of the 360 version one, there is only one pin. You will need a sync cable, even with the TX.

Travis, look at your set up and buy the right cord.

Yep, the single pin(x-pin) is the flash trigger and that is all it does. The flash doesn't have the extra data pins that are necessary for the receiver to communicate with the flash. Even if the TX is telling the receiver to do HSS, the receiver is not able to tell the flash. So you will need to use a sync cable.

^^^ what smaeda said

OK, so it appears the 360 does have a HSS mode, and here is some verbage on how to set the flash into that mode:

"The menu has four mode settings, M, S1, S2 and RPT. M stands for manual, the regular mode while two other modes enable the flash to be triggered by another flash (with different timings). The fourth one actives the stroboscopic mode, to fire a series of flashes. Pressing the MODE and SET button at the same time turns the flash into the high speed sync mode, but due to longer flash duration at higher powers this can only be done at 1/8 or higher. Note that to be able to use HSS you need a compatible HSS trigger."

So be sure the flash is turned up to a high enough power, as well.

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.

You have to use FT16 to asjust the power setting

The issue here is that the sync signal is not transmitted from the receiving unit to the flash unless the receiver is connected through the sync PORT, not the hot shoe/foot.

The OP asked specifically about HSS. SS and HSS are not the same. Also he asked specifically using only the 622c and 622c-TX and never mentioned the FT16 anywhere. Also to be clear, I never mentioned that SS doesn't work. I said it will work but at 1/1 power so not what the OP is looking for.

Attaching sync cable from 622 receiver to AD360 off course will works, but why you need the cable if you can attach the receiver directly.

Only if you run out of groups and need that group to trigger other flash where you need the group to be set to M or TTL, then yeah you need the sync cable.
As long as you dont need a group to be in M or TTL, just set it to SS and attach the receiver directly to AD360 (first version)

No you are Wrong. It works not only at full power.
The SS just sent early signal to AD360, same as using sync cable, but it sends only simple triggering signal that can be recignozed by AD360 from receiver shoe.
HAVE YOU TRIED IT ?!!

622 on the left, 360 on the right. I was mistaken earlier with the 622 connection, but something like this is what you need to get the early sync signal from RX to 360. I guess PC to PC would work too, but anyone who ever dealt with traditional PC connections gets the out of the equation every time possible.
