I'm looking at buying this lens to pair with my 7dmk11 and my 5dmk11 Moslty for sports with the kiddos and some wildlife. Looking for feedback on anyone who has used this lens. Thanks in advance,

Cole

I've used it. I owned it for about 2 years. It is really good wide open, if you stay from 70-180mm or so. Out at the long end, it sharpens up if you stop down to f/3.2. By f/3.5 it is as good as it gets, which is pretty good. I never had any complaints about the AF speed or accuracy. I sold it for a smaller, lighter, slower EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM. I am happy with that.
