I'm looking for a camera that is can just slip in my coat pocket wherever I go. I have 2 DSLRs and an M. The M is good, but my wife uses that all the time. I'd like manual capability and also good DR. I was thinking of the Sony dsc-rx100/b, but ot seems a bit expensive for what it is. Any ideas to lead me in the correct direction.

I'm very happy with my Canon S120 for 'pocket' use.

I picked up a Canon S95 (earlier version of Perfect 10's camera) for close to peanuts on FleaBay recently. Great little stick in the pocket camera!

I wasn't willing to spend much as this sort of camera gets very little use from me so I just wanted something to capture moments that would otherwise be missed, if I want a photograph I bring a proper (bulky/heavy) camera.

These little S series cameras are nice and solidly built and produce good results + mine has Manual control. Overall very pleased and not poorer:-)

Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).
