Just a few thousand snow geese hanging around the house and fields out back. Rafted up in the bays that were ice free.
No biggie until we factor in the weather.
Woke up this morning to a balmy -18C with winds howling out of the north.
At noon, with the wind chill it was a "time to dig out the fur lined boot laces" -34C. Quick conversion = -29F
I figure I'll thaw out by Wednesday.

I thought it was cold out today at 10 degreesF with 30 - 40 mph winds. Hard to believe it was almost 70 a few weeks ago. Hopefully I get out tomorrow when its almost 25. We have seen Robins here for a few weeks, but I'm told there from Canada. I would have been happy to see a few Snow geese. The only birds I saw today were seagulls.
