Forest Red-tailed Black Cockatoos

My first attempt using a flash extender, these were taken on a very over cast day and about 10 metres away from the camera

The second photo reminds me of the Night time Day time bird (also known as a bleack Heron https://www.youtube.co​m/watch?v=Ln2Xq8fCNI8 )

I didn't realise you had red tails over there -I thought they were all white or yellow tails there

We have three types

Forest Red-tailed Black Cockatoos, Baudin Black Cockatoos, Carnaby Black Cockatoos. The Baudins and Carnaby's are white tailed and almost identical except the Baudins have longer beaks
