Mar 14, 2017 05:35 | #2 saturation seems a bit elevated. The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.

Mar 14, 2017 10:55 | #3 hmm I only bumped the saturation by +1 in lightroom, do they look over saturated? Image hosted by forum (844985) © Subfightersandman [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. 40D, 70D

Gart Senior Member More info Post edited over 6 years ago by Gart. | Mar 14, 2017 11:21 | #4 I'm a bit mixed on photo #1. City scenes are not something I normally tend to admire but other times I can see something of worth in them.

Scrumhalf Cream of the Crop More info | Mar 14, 2017 11:51 | #5 In photo 2, I keep getting distracted by the buildings leaning in different directions. The buildings on the left are leaning right, but the right most building in that cluster, plus the one in the BG are leaning left. Maybe you want to play around with the distortion settings to see if you can straighten them out. Sam

Mar 15, 2017 07:53 | #8 After looking again at #1...it seems to look saturated as in some movie scenes...not a bad thing though. The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.

It's a strong cityscape image with good balance and lots of visual interest. You have reason to be proud of this one. “Composition can’t be reduced to a set of rules ... Dissonance has its place in photography as well as music. If we confined ourselves to major and minor scales, the blues wouldn’t exist. Rules are tools, not laws.” ~ James Martin
