I presently use Lightroom version 5.7 and am considering getting a Canon 7D MKII body. Will this version of Lightroom recognize the files from the 7D MKII? Thanks.

Best thingto do Lou is check out Adobes releases at the Adobe site. They will list all the changes for each update and will also list the cameras it supports. If you cant find that easiest way to check is look at the date the camera was released and look at release date of 5.7 and you will get an iidea. For example if 5.7 was released BEFORE the 7Dmk2 was released to market you can bet it isnt on there

Another way of checking is to download a raw 7DmK2 file from the internet and import it into Lightroom. There are tons of RAW samples around on the net from when the camera was originally reviewed. Maybe even one on Canon site given its still a current model
