Does anyone have experience with purchasing travel insurance for their gear?
I will be going on an international trip for at least a month and want travel insurance for my gear at least. I've seen some good insurance companies that are highly regarded and pay quick god forbid anything happens, but they tend to max out at around $2500.
Since I will be bringing about $6,000+ worth of gear with me, these policies just wont cut it. can anyone recommend a good insurance company for travelling abroad that will pay without issue if god forbid my equipment is lost/stolen during my trip. would be a plus if it covered other items of mine like my laptop and expensive luggage ect. Camera gear alone is about $6,000 everything Im taking is about $9,000 total. but I highly doubt *knock on wood* that something would happen to ALL of my stuff that I travel with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
