What's it about to pounce on, Ian? Something on the surface of the ice? Or is there open water to the left of the frame?

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

There is open water off to the left, thankfully the ice is almost all gone.

That is a great shot, Ian. I thought he was on a white sand beach-time to get back to reality!
Pose is a lot like your recent speedy juvenile. Any thought to pairing them up some way?

Just awesome, Ian! Time in the sun and sand have not lessened your technique!

LOL Rog, no white sand here for a while yet. Well, there's sand, and it is white with snow. Sigh. I should look at making a collage maybe!

Thanks Brad, they even have been doing this when I am standing outside my car, it's quite amazing. They're about 100 feet away; I had to take even the 1.4x extender off.

yep, I knew that. Was worried that all that time in the sun, surf, and rum punches had dulled your technique! LOL
