There is open water off to the left, thankfully the ice is almost all gone.

LOL Rog, no white sand here for a while yet. Well, there's sand, and it is white with snow. Sigh. I should look at making a collage maybe!

Fantastic capture Ian!

Thanks Brad, they even have been doing this when I am standing outside my car, it's quite amazing. They're about 100 feet away; I had to take even the 1.4x extender off.
