So I just received the X-CAP2 lens cap by Freemod Designs. This installs on the front of the lens like a filter but this replaces your standard lens cap because it stays on the lens but has a shutter. The one I received is 43mm which is perfect for the Canon EF-M 22mm. They have sizes ranging from 37mm to 52mm and it works with Olympus, Fuji, Sony, Sigma, Panasonic and Pentax lenses.

Here is a list of compatible lenses (some lenses will require an adapter) - http://freemod-design.com …cts/compatible-lens-list/ (external link)

Here is my unboxing and install video

They had a version that automatically opened and closed when the camera was turned on and off. But they discontinued that model. But I'm definitely liking this. I wish they made bigger sizes or at least up to 55mm. The price though is pricey. The ones I received has UV protector built it and goes for $87. The standard version is about $50-57.
