Got a little lucky today. Decided to drive through an area that in the winter, holds quite a few Snow owls but was thinking that with the warm weather recently that the owls would have headed back north to their breading grounds. spied this one sitting on a mound of dirt, hiding in the weeds. Big crop.
The Snow Buntings were perched in a tree, something I have not seen before.
Starting to get a feel for the new body and lens.
