Looking for some comments and critique on this please.
It is a young African Jacana on lily pads.

I know a catch light would have been better.
I know the full reflection would have been better.

Anything else?

Oh yeah, it would have been better if it was an adult as we would have the love blue head to add some more colour too.

Great capture! For me, personally, I don't think this reflection adds anything to the picture. I would have cropped that out. A catchlight is not always possible. I don't think not having one takes away from anything. I also don't think it matters that it's not an adult. Of course birds in full adult/breeding/male plumage are more colorful, but there's nothing like the little ones. I think one of my best captures doesn't even show the front of the bird. And my signature line tells you my opinion.:-D

Another crazy reddish egret. These are the coolest birds. I only get to see them once or maybe twice a year but they are worth the wait for the show!! Wonderful birds.
