Hello all, I need some advice

I have the canon 70D and will be looking to upgrade to a canon 6D or the 5D Mark III.
I know some of my lenses will not work with the full frame body.

Is the canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Refurbished for $540 from Canon directly a good buy or
Is there another lens with similar focal length and better IQ that you could recommend for around the same price ?

Lenses I have at the moment

Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM < ~~~~ will have to sell when I go to FF
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM < ~~~~ will have to sell when I go to FF
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM

Thanks in advance

That would be my choice. It's a very good lens at a very good price!

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

I really like this lens on my 60D and on my 7DII. Lenstag values this lens used at $600.00. Refurbished should be even better than just used!

I paid a little bit more for my refub 24-105. I don't really remember the base price but I paid somewhere around $600 with the tax and shipping.

I've purchased a few new lenses and I couldn't tell that the refurb wasn't brand new, except for the brown box in which it was shipped and the little punch in the EF mount.

With the 24-105, I'd much prefer a refurbished lens as opposed to buying a used one. If for some reason, it looks rough, you have a 14 day return period. In addition to that you get the full 1 year warranty from Canon. Seemed like a no brainer to me, even though I've seen them used for a bit less.

Thank you all.

I ordered the 24-105mm F/4L. now I have to sell the EF-S 18-135mm and keep on the lookout for a good deal on a FF camera.
