Thanks to Ltdave for the honour of choosing the next topic, and indeed judging your entires. The topic for this week is Spectacle - I wanted something that people could get creative with, but could also be open to almost every genre of photography.

The challenge begins when posted, and will end on Saturday, April 1st at noon CET (Central European Time). The winner will be announced shortly thereafter. (I'm setting an alarm to do it now.)

CHALLENGE RULES:
1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, (not just DSLR)
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: See standard P.O.T.N. Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.
6. Details: Show camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
7. Commenting: Please, NO COMMENTING DURING CHALLENGE feel free to comment in this thread after a winner is declared.
8. Content: Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
9. Have questions? PM me.
10. Have FUN!
* THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED!

A new challenge should be posted ASAP after you have been declared the winner.

Thanks again to Ltdave, and I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Final Four at "JerryWorld", Dallas, Texas. Truly a spectacle.

Sorry the verdict is late, I had an unexpectedly fraught weekend.

Thanks and well done to those who entered. I'm going to have to award this one to texkam because it actually made me google how big basketball arenas are because it seemed like such a huge amount of people. That for me was the spectacle.

Thank you. AT&T Stadium is home to the American Football franchise Dallas Cowboys, but this huge venue hosted the collegiate national basketball championship. The 64 team tournament is referred to as March Madness. This image was captured from my seat which was 5th row from the top.

I'm currently at a local pub listening to my friends performing old time blues. I'll post the next challenge soon.
