what lens were you using for landscapes on the crop sensor? if you were happy with the wideness of the 18-55, you could look at a 24-105
I try to avoid using the 18-55 since it's not that sharp. I have a Canon 10-18 for UWA stuff but usually I'd bring my 28mm 1.8 stopped down quite a bit with the 70-200 for telephoto shots. Where the 28mm would not be wide enough, I'd rather take a pano and stich than use the 18-55. flickr
