Orion is rapidly leaving the evening sky for the season, so I thought I'd try to improve on my previous efforts before it's too late in the season for images of Orion.

This is the results of stacking 53, 30 second images. I started before it actually got dark, and had to quit when my neighbor's roof intruded in the frame. (I hesitate to post these after seeing Malview's version of M42, but it's about all I can do with what I have. Maybe someday...... :-D ) These were both cropped from the full frame to enlarge M42.

Don't sell yourself short. I'd be super proud of these images. Well done!
Did you take any dark/flats/bias frames?
