It's not often I get to see Bald Eagle. I've photographed this one for a few years and this is the first year its in adult plumage.
I wish I had some different perches but I took what I could get. It comes to a pond (about 3.5 hours from my house) for about 45 minutes each morning a few months of the year. Basically it winters in Cottonwood AZ and probably returns to northern AZ for the summer. Anyway, here it is. I have no idea on male or female.
Yes, that is the Moon behind it in a few photos. There wasnt enough light to go to f11+ as I didn't have my tripod with me at the time.

I wish I could get opportunities like Ian (ha) but I take what I can get. Enjoy.

awesome- I too have to travel a bit for my eagle shots. I love the moon in the frame
