I stumbled across a "rookery" a couple of days ago. Not sure what I'm shooting though, seems to be some kind of a crane or a stork?

Great Blue Heron; nice capture. It's fun to hang out near an active rookery...these things are noisy, and absolutely prehistoric sounding.

Thank you very much. Yeah, it was crazy down there last evening with all the noise they were generating, but the light was terrible. Had to go back this morning. They are really beautiful.
