I only quoted your post because the "editer" told me I couldn't do a "bump".

Anyway, the thing that got me excited about the 1D IV was how accurate the color duplication is. Coming from a 7D2, the colors amazed me. I think my only true upgrade path is the 1D X ll. I shot next to a guy with a 1D X and while he likes the camera a lot, he said the differences weren't huge between it and his 1D IV.

The 5D IV might work as well..... but the faster shutter speeds would be a sacrifice for some of the stuff I do.

I had the IV before....got the 1Dx and the 7D2.....still have the 1Dx....its a super work horse....
sold the IV for a 7D2....it was great, but the 1DIV still edged it out in the AF and image quality, and
the ISO was about the same to me.....sold the 7D2 and picked up another 1D4.....love this body

Wish you the best in selling.....they are one of the historic great bodies Canon did good on.

Yes, sir! That's the one I bought from you. It is still in the excellent shape I got it in. I find the 80D to be a worthy replacement, with some new features (-3EV focus, DPAF, DR, etc.) in a smaller/lighter package. The 80D is not built like a tank, and doesn't have 10fps, but will serve my purposes just fine.

A couple of shots of the sensor. 50mm STM @ f/22, about 8" from a blank wall. Notice there are no streaks from any poor sensor wet-clean jobs. First shot is 'before' I used a rocket blower. Second shot is 'after' the rocket blower. Extremely minimal amount of dust on the sensor. A few on the before, much less on the after. Nice clean camera, folks!

Did I scare folks with the sensor shots?
