Which canon body is best to use for macro photography: 60D, 70D or the new 77D?
I have the lenses, but only the 40D.

OK, I have one problem with the 40D. 3 inch view in the back is fixed. I am retired and have a hip problem which gives me problems to bend.

So are you saying you're looking for an articulating Live View LCD and that's what you use to compose and shoot with at ground level?

You would be trading ergonomics at all. Stepping down to the 77D line though many parts upgraded, some controls will be unfamiliar.

I have the 7D2 and SL1, and the SL1 has a much smaller viewfinder according to neocamera, but I don't notice any difference when shooting. I still haven't done macro work with the 80D, but I did notice some differences between the 80D and 450D (same size as our SL1). Paulo

Admittedly, for many it makes little difference. But for some it does make a significant difference. Actually, what I really forgot, was that the 77D does away with the hard to use Rebel multi-controller d-pad as found on the T7i and most all other rebels and adds in an XXD style wheel,. the likes of which I pretty much can not live without! The 77D viewfinder is even smaller then your SL1 (which is "amazing" since your SL1 body is smaller then the 77D :P), perhaps canon thinks people are quiting the viewfinder and using DSLR like smartphones ![]() Let's keep everything in context though
So the 77D viewfinder is indeed a bit better than the T6 and the same as the T7i, yet very inferior to the T7 specs! Yet the T7 has inferior pixel count to the T7i. Canon yet again exhibits some real discombobulation in positioning products to confuse the buyer! You need to give me OK to edit your image and repost!
