The new Nikon D7500 was just announced for the summer and it's specs are amazing (and with a relatively cheap price tag of only $1250 to boot). Is there anything canon offers that can come even close to competing?

8fps with 50 shot RAW buffer
4k UHD
Expandable ISO up to 1.6 MILLION
Same processing engine as their D500
51 focus points
3axis in camera stabilization for HD video

And at only $1250! That's crazy!

Sounds awesome.

The only thing that you could camper it to from Canon would be the 7D2,. but that would not get you 4K or IBIS.

(I read a few pages on the D7500 and did not see any mention of IBIS though?)

"Like the D500, the D7500 offers 3-axis built-in e-VR image stabilization when shooting 1080p Full HD video, and can be easily focused using the rear touchscreen function."

I'm not sure of Nikons terminology but is this true ibis?

Sounds like electronic stabilization for video, not optical stabilization
