This male Wood Duck and female Common Merganser were tempting targets in yesterday's sunlight.

awesome Al- I would never have shot a merganser- until now I thought they were unworthy of the trouble. this one is wow. oh yeah- the wood duck is good also

Thank you very kindly. The water in the lake is very clear and clean this time of year, just after ice-out, and it reflects the blue sky beautifully.
