I need a new computer mic (PC). I have also been thinking about getting an external mic for video on my Canon 60D. Any recommendations on any I could use for both?

Do you expect to record primarily ambient sounds and voices or primarily music?

You are really going to need a separate mic for your computer. For your camera though, the RODE mic suggested above should probably meet, and may even exceed, your requirements.
