The exposure setting "range", viewed at the top of the camera (with the w/b, iso, app ans shutter speed stuff) is showing +1/3, I have no idea how this was increased (usually have it right in the middle) I can't find my manual- Anyone know how to get it back? I have gone in the meno 1000 times and there is an "auto exposure" setting, but that does not seem to be what I am looking for.

ANy help is appreciated. Thanks

you are refering to the same wheel as I use to change the app/ shutter speed? Except I push down on it first- yes?

Thanks!!I knew it had to be something simple!

or the AV button on the right/top side of the viewing LCD if on a Rebel.
Hold the button down while you rotate that little wheel to the left.

Silly question but you don't mention if your symbol for flash exposure compensation is showing. If it is then use that top button. If not then you need to adjust exposure compensation.

For exposure conpensation you would put camera in AV or TV, compose and turn the main dial with your thumb for -+ exposure compensation.

Cheers

Copies of Most camera Manuals including Canon, can be looked up on the Internet. There is no charge to download them, or you can just keep a copy on your PC

I have a plastic coated "Cheat Sheet" for my 10D whch covers all the basic camera settings on a two sided 8x10 sheet (folded). Got it from B&H Photo. Also got one for my Canon 420EX Flash.
