I used the Samyang 14/2.8 for the first time live on my 5DIII a couple of weeks ago. Never got to try it before but I wanted more angle than the 24/1.8 but less distortion than fisheye. Manual focus was not really an issue in the end!

#2 is excellent, great job with the Sammy. I didn't realize that lens was so good I'll be taking a 2nd look at them. #6 of the girl at the keys is also excellent with the 28m. No kidding on #3 what a crazy perspective.

@BJWOK, yes this guy was jumping from the riser, crazy high!

@BushWacker for concert if you want a 14mm affordable it is really good, the manual focus is really easy to do honestly. 28/1.8 from Canon with a 5D mark I and a 85/1.8 would be the set I recommend to every person that want to do concert photography on FF at a budget.

I have a Sigma 14m f2.8 that I have yet to use at a concert but I will certainly be taking it to see what I can get. I usually use the Canon 16-35m f2.8 zoom instead but that extra wide angle creates great perspective.

hum well, 16 and 14 doesnt make much difference I guess, but I would not use a 16-35, as I can get 1.4 on the 24mm, and I prefer more light

I agree that's why I haven't used the Sigma 14mm yet. I have a Sigma 20mm f/1.4 I use all the time but there is a big enough difference between 14mm and 20mm to make it worth considering let alone the difference between 14mm and 24mm which is quite significant.

yeah if you could combine 14 and 20 that would make sense.
Should get the X-T2 this week, I will probably try it at a show over the weekend... hope it does better than the X-T10, this was a huge disappoitment....
