Happy Earth day,Not sure what this Goose was doing perhaps a nest nearby as its on a river bank

In my neighborhood, it is quite common to find a Canada goose in a tree. Usually it is in or near water. From what I have observed, they seem to use trees for observation posts and for calling to other geese. Nice find. ߙ

Around here, they've been nesting (or co-opting existing raptor nests) in trees. Very odd. Nice lighting to capture that one in.
