Ashley at the Grand Canyon

Taken just a couple hours ago. That's my girl... "Forget the scenery. There are people here who will pet me!"

It makes me so happy to see Ashley out hiking again! I'm glad to see she's getting the most out of her travels!

Wow. Ashley is one globe-trotting pooch, Lonnie...and making friends along the way.

Not a bad way to live if you ask me.

Remind me, where did the phrase, "Work like a dog" come from?

We aren't really doing any hiking on this trip, Becca, though we did cover a mile or two on the South Rim Trail and the walking path from the Visitor's Center to the Village. I guess you could count that.

Good question! I know it has nothing to do with Ashley, though...

Great to see this Lonnie. What a suck up. totally ignore the camera to get some pats from strangers. Boy where's the loyalty there.
