Loved it. Could have used a few more sunny days but overall it was really just amazing. We hit the Columbia River Gorge and the many waterfalls, Crown Point, Japanese Garden, Ecola State Park, and Cannon Beach. Would have loved to see Crater Lake and the Lost Lake area. I unfortunately twisted my ankle pretty bad on our last day on Indian Beach. Oh well. Sony A7riii, 16-35, 24-70 2.8 GM, 85 f/1.8, 100-400 GM

Scrumhalf Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 29, 2017 18:32 | #9 Yeah, there's a lot to see. Come again and spend time around Crater Lake and on the dry side. It's a whole other world East of the Cascades. Sam

May 01, 2017 20:16 | #11 IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/UajScj We got to do a little bit of hiking in Oregon a few weeks ago now. I can honestly say that meeting the Pacific Ocean at the end of the trailhead has to be the best reward. Unfortunately at a different secluded beach (Indian Beach) the outcome was not as fortunate. I was crossing a fallen tree and as I was trying to stay away from the "sneaker waves" (real term used) I planted both feet and my left foot buckled as some rocks gave way and I ended up twisting it pretty severely. Luckily it was on our last night at the beach. After an xray at home, the diagnosis was that it was severely sprained. No broken bones or structural damage. Arch Cape, Oregon.
