A little nervous. I never started one of these. This seems not to exist, so here goes...

Got mine a few days ago. Weather has been hazy and poor, but I took some shots. Thing is huge and super heavy.

Super telephoto compression plus large aperture on FF is a sexy combination. Strangely, I feel that the super sharp aspect of this lens gets lost in it's shallow depth of field.

Oh, you are right. Weird. I don't think I've ever even SEEN a 200mm F2, so definitely not a slip up at this end.

The 85A shows up as a 24LII or did for awhile. You'll see though it says @ 135mm.

This is a lens I'll wait for any street specials for or price reduction before I would consider it. If I could pick it up for 1000-1100 then it would be More ideal.
