Just received this lens about an hour ago. Testing around the yard. No live subjects are home. No adjustments, lens is pretty fast, color good.

picked this up last week. So far, very happy. I had the L at some point last year, and I feel that I like this one more. It will be primarily used for weddings. These are SOOC raws. only imported into Lightroom, then exported.

Lovely shot. Not so many sample in this thread. How did you find he AF consistency. I had bad tryst with 35mm 1.4. But liked the quality.

I find the AF consistency and accuracy as top notch. absolutely impressed. on the 1Dx and 5D3, its killer. in fact, I find it more consistent in low light than the canon 70-200 2.8MK II, which has been my "go to" for reception photos. and this did NOT disappoint. I have one wedding under my belt with it, and have three more this month. So I will be putting it to work and testing.
