Interested in getting a 77D as well to go as a backup to my 6D2...how's the Auto ISO on the 77D? I heard it isn't as advanced as the 6D2 but just how unadvanced/basic is it? Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Shot of the Milky Way in southern New Mexico. Canon 77D with Rokinon 14mm f2.8 This is a Blend, done in PS. The sky was a stack of 12 shots of 15sec and 6400iso, stacked in Seaquator. The foreground was a single 15sec shot at 3200iso. I blended the two layers in PS, masking out the sky in the foreground shot.

Lunar eclipse, about to occult the star by the edge at 3 o'clock. Shot through a 92mm refractor using a 2X Powermate (similar to a Barlow).

I was out shooting birds this morning when this handsome guy walked by. I didn't have time to reframe the shot because I hadn't seen him coming, and he immediately stepped into deep shadow and then underbrush. This shot was taken from about 75 feet.

This is my first post to this thread, but I've posted at least 200 77D pictures on POTN. It's a great camera...especially for the money.

Having a heat wave in south Florida. Brings out the lightning at night. These were shot in a red zone (much light pollution) The shots were 8 seconds at 1600iso with the 77D and 18-55mm kit lens. For that exposure the clouds had a reddish color from the lights on the ground. Had to try and tone that down in Lightroom.

Thanks Allen! The camera was set on Shutter Priority, single point Auto-Focus, spot metering and auto ISO. I usually set my exposure to underexpose by 2/3 stop most of the time so I don't get any image-ruining blown out areas.

I had scared some birds away from the area and was waiting for them to return. I was already focused on where they had been when the bobcat walked into the frame.

I just got a new Canon ef 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L II usm lens, and while showing my wife the different settings on the lens itself, this guy showed for some seed. I've only been able to take a few test shots, so I'm kind of amazed how sharp it turned out.

White Pocket. Stack of 10 shots, 20sec at 6400iso for the sky (to reduce noise). One shot of 7min at 1600iso with "In Camera" long exposure noise reduction for the landscape. Blended in Photoshop. Same night, same session, camera not moved on tripod.
