I am looking for a monitor to use with my 2015 Retina MacBook Pro. I made the mistake of taking some bad advice and bought a 32" LG IPS monitor, and it's a huge disappointment. It only covers 72% of colors and is only 1080. The colors are off and the text is pretty fuzzy.

So..I'm looking for an inexpensive IPS monitor, either 27" or two 24", that I can use with my MacBook. I don't use it a lot at home because I have an iMac for primary editing. But occasionally I will want to work on photos in my print room with my large format printer. I would like to keep it under $275.

Thank you in advance.

Within your budget, the Dell U2415 is top rated for color accuracy. For a little more money but under $350, consider the Dell P2415Q with 4K that is great for Macbook Pros. Dual display is best in my opinion for editing with PS and LR. In either case, also invest in a good colorimeter like the X-rite i1Display or Datacolor Spyder5 Pro/Elite if doing any serious print work or working with outside agencies, printers, etc.
