Went picking mushrooms yesterday. This is one of the many pounds of morels we picked. They sure are tasty.:-)

I love mushrooms but I am ignorant to the edible types outside of pre-packaged ones. If it came down to survival, I'd fail there.
This particular species would be one I'd stay away from as it looks dangerous to eat. Beautiful to look at, though.

You and me both. There was an Amish family in Ohio that picked a bunch of them.......two died and the other three required liver transplants.

I'll stick to the store bought ones too.

Still kicking today after a great meal of them. The rest of them will be dried. We hope to pick 40-50 pounds of them every spring.°ߙ
