I haven't seen a thread dedicated for fine art so I thought I'd start one. Images must be a personal creative effort that you envisioned (i.e. no input from a client) and have or will print for display.

It doesn't look like POTN members think it involves a lot of blown-out white backgrounds, though.

I was thinking of posting one of my own. And, strange to say, my pick also had a sort of Rembrandt'ish look ... and dark background.

I like this one quite a bit. Very nicely done.

I might crop a little off the top and bottom but I like the effect.

I found the 'right' crop quite hard to judge on this image. I deliberately avoided a tight crop because the white space is an important part of the overall effect that I was trying to achieve. Maybe a square framing would work better ... consistent with your thinking about cropping a little from bottom and top. I'm really not sure. I suspect I'll only know what pleases me best if I make a couple of alternative prints and actually mount and hang them in real physical picture frames.
