Well, I've had this kind of shoot in my head since I got the Tesla, and a couple of weeks ago I finally did it.
One problem is that there are no Windmills (are they called that? English is not my first Language...) close to my home.
So I drove about 65 miles single trip for the chance to be able to do the shot.

Did not succeed since I could not get all the way up to the Windmill, would have wanted to "plug in" directly in to the windmill, but I have another location to try when I get the time :)

The shots are a composition with some 580EX strobes on umbrellas, that are moved around.
(see BTS shots at the end)

Where do i plug in? ;)

Plugged in and charging:

Did a shot of my self relaxing while "charging" as well, but my legs looks freakishly long since I didn't check this before setting up the original shot...

That's a fun idea - for me, the one that I think really "works" is the first one.

Enjoy the Tesla, I've heard they are a lot of fun to drive!

To answer your question, I think these are mostly called "wind turbines"

I'm mainly here for the snacks

Thank you! Yes, that is the one I think I like the most as well.

Yes, lovely to drive, I also have a Dodge Challenger SRT8, also fun to drive, but in a totally different way ;)

Wind Turbines - Check ;)

Thank you, does not seem to be updated.

I used this map:
http://www.vindlov.se …n1/vindbrukskollen-enkel/ (external link) to Find "Varsvik" where these pictures are taken.
But I have another location, where at least 1,5 years ago there was no problem to drive all the way up to the Turbines, did not have the Tesla at that time though.

Good stuff. Those legs though!!! Hilarious.

In "the States" a mill is something that grinds food. Usually windmills grind wheat into flour or corn into "grits", corn meal, or polenta. Grits are slightly finer grind than polenta.

We also have saw mills that cut trees into lumber. But we don't eat lumber.

:D
