The 80D seems to live up to my analysis of it's AF. The Σ100-400 is doing it's part, too.Those bird shots are nice!

I sold my 1D4 for an 80D, in order to lighten my kit. I just got done comparing the original EF 100-400 to the Sigma at TDP. From wide open to f/8, from 100mm to 400mm the Sigma appears to out-sharp the old Canon.

Looks like I can lighten my kit a bit more (8 oz.!) by selling the Canon and picking up the Sigma. Or maybe I'll wait until the price drops a bit, or there is a sale. The old Canon truly isn't worth it's weight anymore. I paid $1,600+ for that lens!
