I decided to be cheap and use Home Depot Lights for this beauty shoot lol. Also used a Ring Light (not from Home Depot)

Canon 5D Mark III + Sigma 85mm f/1.4 ART lens
f/4.5 - 1/160 - ISO 500

Main Light: Ring Light
Rim Lights: Cheap Home Depot Lights

I need a good cheap ringlight. For continuous lighting to cover an area, I have had good results using the 5 bulb fixtures on Amazon that hold 5 daylight CFL, through a softbox.

Still probably more expensive than the home depot rim lighting though, and probably doesn't give quite the same body length lighting though.

Thanks for the tips, looks great!

I like your beach shots a bit better with they high speed sync, but this photo looks prettty good too. With one exception ... the reflection in the eye looks more like defect than an artistic effect. Could be mere personal preference.

But I'd rather you try it and share than skip it. I love experimentation.
