Is she getting a ticket in the last one? seems a bit harsh!

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Great topic and great shots folks.
This had me thinking quite a bit about what is important in my life.
My wife is most important, but she does not want me posting her photo
so I will post some other things.

This parking spot and two more beside it have been very important to me
over the last couple of years. In Jan 2015 I ended up with some really bad
infections in my left foot.....the doctors were pretty sure that I would lose
all or at least part of it. I started seeing the nurses at this clinic every 3rd
day for about 4 months and the weekly and now very 3 weeks. Thanks to
the fantastic care of these nurses I still have my whole foot.

Next up is this spot on English Bay in Vancouver. My older brother fell in love with
Vancouver and English Bay in particular when he first visited here in the early 70's.
He always said that when he retired his dream was to move hear and get an
apartment near this area. That never did happen. He found out that he was dying
of cancer in 2012.On his last visit with us a few weeks before he passed as we sat
on a bench near here and watched the sunset over the bay he asked me if I would find
a nice spot here and spread his ashes. We chose this spot and fulfilled his wishes.

Public art is something else that has become important to me. I love to see it
and thin it helps make the city more vibrant and livable.

This is probably my favourite installation.

A fine bit of Photojournalism, Oh!

Thanks! So many times, I take the camera along and don't find anything to shoot. This time, I was glad to have it. These pictures are chosen from about 20 from the scene.

No, they're just talking. She said she first heard a thud, before the smoke started. The officer was using a phone or some similar small device, maybe taking notes. I think the white-haired man was a worker at a nearby business; not sure why he put his nose in. The woman was driving alone.

A good idea for this topic, as well as your more personal stories.

I took these photos on Saturday. The first picture is our 12 year old mare with her first foal. He is also our first foal. We sent her to a friends farm to deliver her foal because she was a maiden mare. I was really worried that something would go wrong but everything went perfect. My daughter imprinted him and he is now super friendly. He is 4 days old in these pictures. The second picture is my daughter and her foal.
