This last Saturday I was privileged to get the opportunity to photograph the spring recital of an outstanding local dance studio. This involved 4 shows on one day with over 300 dancers. Here are a couple of the images.

#1 is stunning! 3&4 are also great. Minor critique, it looks like the horizontals (or verticals) are a bit off.

Nice job! I always find dance to be pretty challenging at times due to strange lighting going on at times. Nice to see the 7D II do so well.

Thanks. The 7DII has been up to everything I have asked it to do. It's an exceptional camera and the image files from it are remarkably versatile. This set was hand held at a higher ISO and cleaned up nicely.

Nicely shot man!!

Just a question: did you shop in those stars in the background or is it just my monitor looking funky?

Those stars were actually the backdrop on the stage.

#1 is phenomenal. Only minor critique is an overlapping face in #4 and overlapping body in #2, but not sure if it could be avoided. Well done!
