Does anyone know of a way to take long exposures during the day with this lens using a special filter? Are there any ND filters for this lens?
Does anyone have any experience with this: https://fotodioxpro.com/products/wpxlcore-ca1124![]()
Thanks.

IMO, for something that wide, you'de be better off with a rear filter. I think that lens has a gel slot, you should look into cutting out some gels. I decided on this system after reading the great reviews. I do want something to protect the lens so I bought the UV MRC lens and the 10x stop filter for the XL system. Can't wait to get some creative ultra wide angle shots with this lens! Doug Sturgess

I use haida ND filters, 100mm squares.. for the 11-24 front, you'de need something much larger like 150mm squares. Those are wratten film filters. I don't think they have the rigidity for a front holder, but you could cut them to size for the rear filter slot. Canon EOS R7, M5, 100 (film), and Sony α6400

Best getting a kit like in the original post, just be aware of the severe vignetting which you may encounter with a strong ND. The 11-24 is an unconventional lens which takes unconventional filters. Any vignetting issues?

I'll definitely look into Aurora's rear filter set. They are the result of a Kickstarter (crowd funding) project. I received mine last month so I'm not in a position to criticise or praise but they appear well made and the holders are simple to install (also simple to revert to the Canon original holder). A quick test of a white subject lit with 5600k leds shows little or no colourcast although sunlight might behave differently. 1Dx2 (2), 5DSR, 1Ds3, 1D4, 5D2(590nm), 5D2(720nm) EF600 EF400 EF300-II EF300 EF200 EF200-II EF180L EF135L EF100 EF85-II EF50L TS-E17/4 TS-E24L-II TS-E45 TS-E90 MP-E65 EF70-200-II EF24-70/2.8-II EF16-35/4 EF8-15/4 EF11-24/4 Zeiss 15/2.8 21/2.8 25/2 28/2 35/1.4 35/2 50/2 85/1.4 100/2 135/2 T/C's L-SC & a WIFE!

A heavy price tag, but if it delivers it might be worth it. Please let me know once you post images taken with the filter applied!
