Has anybody ever used one of these https://www.amazon.com …nements=p_85%3A2470955011 (external link) with manual bellows to allow control of the aperture of a modern lens?

They say it works with manual extension tubes, so it ought to work with manual bellows.

I just don't have, and am unlikely to have $800-900 for a Novoflex auto-bellows for Canon EF.

If it works, it would allow me to use affordable manual bellows, and still allow me to both easily set the aperture, and use DSLR Controller to do focus stacking.

Not used one on bellows but have used the similar Meike version to reverse lenses with full aperture control. The connecting cable stretches out to a couple of feet so should be ok with a bellows.
Only problem I can see is fitting the bellows to the adapter. The camera end has a 58mm female filter thread with adapters to 58,67, 72 mm and 77mm male threads and the bellows end has a 58mm male filter thread.
