Caught this little guy on the fence this afternoon.

Any idea what this little guy is ?

Nice pic! Now I'm no Hawk expert but based on his cap I'll guess Cooper's Hawk. Another possibility for the experts to tell me I'm wrong from is sharp shinned hawk. A major difference is the tail on a Sharpshinned is squared off, while the tail of a Cooper's hawk is rounded, but I can't tell from your picture about the tail. Also, Sharpshinned Hawks are the smallest hawks in North America, and coopers are a bit bigger. Immature Cooper's hawk: thick tarsi, clean breast streaking, and slight differences in head shape help to separate them from the smaller, very similar Sharp-shinned hawk.
