Managed to capture this while shooting birds at my feeder. Not Photoshopped. Not a very good image, they were way up there. Image is heavily cropped.

They'll harass those Buteos like that all day long. Really funny, but I have seen this end badly a few times.

I know what you mean. I was kinda surprised it was a Redwing Blackbird. Most of the time the crows are harassing, and I use the crows scolding to tell me there's a Redtail in the area. I didn't know the Redwing actually was on the hawk's back until I downloaded the photos. I was surprised watching it harass it, the hawk didn't get a hold of him.

I've seen Red-wings, and grackles do it here, and end up getting grabbed by a soaring or gliding Red-tailed hawk. The Red-tails often ignore the bird, but I've seen them do a quick roll over and grab the other bird.
