A fruit fly that got into the freezer and froze.

I'm finally starting to get the hang of things.

I adjusted the lighting (300w CFLs) so that the head wasn't in shadow.

I didn't let DSLR Controller do an excessive number of images. This was 51 images at medium setting.

I made minor exposure and contrast adjustments to the RAW files in Elements 15.

I didn't let Elements do any enhancements during conversion to TIFs.

I was really happy to get the detail of the facets of the eyes.

With the two 300w equivalent CFLs and the 250(?)w equivalent I've got enough light, it's just hard to direct.

Things will be easier when I'm working again and have the money for a couple of Flashpoint manual flashes and a controller.
