Digital Camera Speed Challenge #464 - City Life

We're off to NYC tomorrow for my wife's annual conference. I get 3 days to roam the streets and parks by myself taking pics. So let's see some of yours. Celebrate City Life.

The challenge begins when posted, and will end on Monday, June 5, 2017 at midnight CDT. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter. (Or more likely, the next morning.)

CHALLENGE RULES:
1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, (not just DSLR)
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: See standard P.O.T.N. Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.
6. Details: Show camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
7. Commenting: Please, NO COMMENTING DURING CHALLENGE feel free to comment in this thread after a winner is declared.
8. Content: Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
9. Have questions? PM me.
10. Have FUN!


* THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED! A new challenge should be posted ASAP after you have been declared the winner.

Contest closed. Not as many entries as I had hoped. Nonetheless, some good shots here.

1st: Paul B. - I love London and that shot shows the very modern side of it.

2nd: Darkslinger - Nice B&W conversion. Where is that?

3rd: teekay - Interesting free form art. Wonder what it looks like after rain.

Congratulations to Paul and Darkslinger! I don't live in or near a big city but figured that "bucket list" wall (now torn down for condos) could have been in one.

Thanks M_Six for the 1st Place. There were few entries but all looked pretty good to me. teekay the wall was particularly interesting. Next contest up shortly.

As I said when I put the contest up, we were in NYC last week. We've been there a dozen times, but this was the first time I made it to the Flatiron District. Fascinating place. Love this building.
