Liberalis has posted some nice shots of "Mini models" & several other people have said that they'll shoot some too, so put one of your best shots here with a link to your thread.
If you can, post a shot of your set-up & give use any details that you can to help other guys out & we'll see what we can come up with.

Here are some links to help out:
FAQ - Studio Lighting

Michael Paul Smith models (external link) - great stuff!
He makes models & photographs them so they look as if they're real cars in real locations. No PS was used on the images.
Some shots near the end show the sets.
Slideshow (external link)

This is a model I made & shot on film years ago of a JPS F-1 car so, no shot of the set. I think I only used one light, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what I did.
:)

Wow, lots of looks but no posts... Can I post two? I can't remember the threads now but a car and a space ship. I made both many years ago... Lighting was plain overhead fluorescent lights in the basement.

I'll second the thought about the beach. It looks rough on the feet! It's volcanic so it must be an island... Hawaii?

Jon.
