I see that E-infinity is selling this at less than £700 unless I have read it wrong. Quite a drop in price.

I emailed them for confirmation. Yes, white box however I have ordered from E-infinity on quite a few occasions, saved a small fortune and had zero problems with them and their gear. I probably won't get this particular lens as I have the original version which continues to serve me very well but it's interesting to see this happen on a fairly new version lens. Sony RX10 iv
